#5 sees a lot of duty with my 124g 9mm's too. Everything from 158g LSWC's, to full-house 125 & 158 HP's. And oddly, I also use #2 for a 10mm 180g loading that emulates 40cal. #2 also sees duty in my 357Mag, 125g short-barrel, low-flash loading - 1195 fps through a 3" bbl (with no signs of high-pressure). I practice with this round, so it's a little stronger than my actual match power floor rounds (which I use Bullseye). I use #2 for my "above the IDPA power floor" practice rounds with 38Spl/148 DEWC's. I don't load for 380 however - but I bet AA2 would work great in it. Other than 45ACP - and only because I choose to stick with my decades-old pet loads using W231 & HS-6 - I use #2 & #5 in every caliber. They are both known for their linear pressure curve, so they behave predictably as you work up loads (a nice characteristic to have, especially with fast powders). While just about any powder will not burn clean if it's not loaded in its "sweet spot," both #2 & #5 seem to have large sweet spots. I use a lot of both AA2 & AA5 - especially No.2.
